Obama “does unpopular” when its healthcare, but not when its closing Gitmo. That one just hit me. Still against both tho.

D’BACKS VS D’BAGS – OLBERMANN IGNITES DIVERSITY BATTLE WITH ORGANIZATION THAT HIRES MINORITIES

I love when Olbermann calls out others for diversity. Especially when its an organization that hires minorities. Like the Diamondbacks, who were nearly half non-Caucasian. Maybe New York should enact immigration reform at 30 Rockefeller Plaza. If Keith truly believes in the progressive concept of diversity, he should immediately quit MSNBC, which has skipped on numerous opportunities to hire minorities for their shows over the last three years. All day, all night, all white!!

Miguel Montero is an excellent candidate to be an All-Star catcher. An early season injury messed up his ’10 start, but he’s one of the top catchers in the NL, behind only McCann & having Soto, Martin & Doumit being close peers. Odds are, most feel he’s the #2 NL catcher. Methinks Olbermann was looking only at the latest D’backs lineup, forgetting Montero since he’s been hurt for a month.

A true baseball fan would know that, though.

TV.MSNBC.COM UPDATED. DIVERSITY INCREASES TO 0%…

So tv.msnbc.com got a new look, which now includes Willie Geist (#11) in the rogues gallery of diversity champs. They also now link to their “documentaries” with a black camera button, which I guess is symbolic for all the “authentic” african-americans featured in Locked Up Raw. The headshots are now much smaller than before, which almost fooled me into thinking that the Progress Police are less pasty than before.

Good to see MSNBC achieving the quotas they preach everyone else should live by. Here is a brief history of tv.msnbc.com over the last year:

    And before that…..

And before Dr. Nancy was replaced…

    SHOULD PRESIDENT PANGEA RECONNECT EARTH…?

Sometimes I feel that President Barack is pissed that Mother Earth sliced up his Monopoly board into a million pieces. I guess anyone from Hawaii would be especially pissed about that. Pangea makes me think of John Lennon, the man who wished that we lived in a world that had “Nothing to kill or die for.” Seems cool but kind of unrealistic. Especially since John Lennon was fatally shot, and the his producer, Phil Spector, was convicted of 2nd degree murder. Imagine that asshole. Don’t know how there could be a world of no possessions. Seems like things will always be owned by someone. “Imagine” could be the the anthem for the ultimate ponzi scheme. Sometimes I think the Beatles’ popularity was based around some sort of ponzi scheme that created a collective assumption that the Beatles are unquestionably greatest band ever. Like how “American Idiot” was code for everyone who bought “American Idiot.” Like how The Beatles were the only band to successfully produce music that can be digitally remastered every 3 years.”Imagine” is a good song nonetheless. But then again, the better the song, the worse the idea. I think it has something to do with the irrationality of our emotions which music appeals to. I think that’s why everyone liked Obama, he had some sort of emotional connection with people who could relate. I wish our govt would use bomb melodies as a blueprint on how not to run America. I think politicians want “reconnecting the big puzzle” as an amendment of the constitution. Don’t know if TX or AZ would be chill with that. Good luck reconnecting earth President Pangea.

KEITH FLASHBACK DEMANDS EVIDENCE & DUE PROCESS…

Back when Bush complained about the media, Olbermann cried by reading a Edward R. Murrow quote that said “accusation depends on evidence and due process of law.” But after election of the Anointed One in 2008, I guess that went out the window. I love Keith Flashback.

MAHER: LIIMITED GOVT WORSE THAN CHILD MOLESTATION…

Bill Maher could never make up his mind about the Michael Jackson allegations despite MJ’s insane interviews, but he seems quick to label the Tea Party Rallies as racist. It almost seems that Bill favors alleged child molesters more than those who promote limited government.

DICK MORRIS SHEDS SOME LIGHT ABOUT CLINTON’S CONNECTION TO WACO & MCVEIGH…

Thought this was interesting since “it’s never been said before.” Who knows what “the truth about Waco” is. Hopefully it’s not a euphemism for something that happened between Bill and Janet at the Red Roof Waco.

    A RAMBLE ON “WE”…

Bill Clinton had a NYT editorial today:

“Fifteen years ago, the line was crossed in Oklahoma City. In the current climate, with so many threats against the president, members of Congress and other public servants, we owe it to the victims of Oklahoma City, and those who survived and responded so bravely, not to cross it again.”

Funny when people use “we” in reference to one person tasks.  “We” is basically a nice way to tell someone that they need to get off their ass. It adds the small dose of self-deprication that strips condescension of its condescending tone.

“We” acknowledges truth without confronting contradiction. It assumes truth without debating truth’s implications. After all, it’s easier to say “we’ve all been guilty” instead of explaining where your convictions have been for the last 10 years. Thanks Bill.

THE TASTELESS TRUTH ABOUT THE CANCER CRUSADERS…

When I was at the movies the other night, I found out that a bunch of celebs want me to “Stand Up 2 Cancer.” Which was weird to me, since Hollywood usually endorses cancer, you know, the liberal kind. (yes tasteless, but please read on).

After all, it was April 16, the day after tax day, and so the first thing that came to mind after hearing the “Stand Up” theme was the Tea Party protesters and Obama’s mockery of them. To me, our president was the most obvious metaphor of “cancer” – a disease that “fundamentally transforms” the human body.

But after a while, I realized my metaphor had a more literal interpretation – if our president wants to “fundamentally transform” America, the country whose capitalist system funds research and treatment of cancer to an extent far beyond any other nation on the planet, then standing up to Obama… is standing up to cancer!

Standing against Obama means standing against the man who seeks to implement a third world healthcare plan – the man who hates the evil prosperity of capitalism. The celebs on the PSA are asking for donations from an American audience that is losing money and jobs daily under the crushing deficit of our federal government. Which ironic, considering that all of the PSA’s celebs are avid supporters of the man who perpetually apologizes for the country that’s constantly seeking to cure the cause they’re so devoted too.

But that’s the unspeakable truth – these leftist celebrities embody the opposite of the good cause that they fight for. Just look at America’s increasing debt and declining status in the world. If Hollywood wants to fight for cancer, they should stand up for America, not the people who hate it.
